RabbitFoRed (operating under the project name Neuronal) built the Synapse app as a commercial service to help MBBS students study smarter. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

This policy complies with the Google Play Developer Policy, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023 (India), and general GDPR principles.

Plain language summary: We collect only what is necessary to run the app. We do not sell your data. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing us.

We do not collect: passwords (handled by Google), full card/bank details, biometric data, precise GPS location, or SMS/call logs.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong password for your Google account and enable 2-factor authentication.

7. Children's Privacy

Synapse is designed for MBBS students and medical professionals and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with data, please contact us at quantum@theostrich.eu.org.
